Kathrin Zabel is a communication and strategy consultant with decades of experience in politics and business.
She began her career as public relations officer in the first Brandenburg state government in two minister’s offices. She then worked as a press spokeswoman for Lotto Brandenburg and later for Deutsche Post AG. In 2001, she joined the representative office of Deutsche Post DHL where she was responsible for lobbying for more than 15 years, most recently serving as deputy head of the office. Subsequently, she worked as the head of the Berlin office at the Federal Association of German Postal Service Providers and then successfully for five years as a freelance public affairs consultant.
Kathrin is a lecturer in public affairs at Quadriga University and the German Academy for Public Relations, and a jury member of the Politik-Award. Besides, she serves as honorary Chairwoman of Netzwerk Public Affairs e.V., an association of leading public affairs professionals.
