Kathrin Zabel will be based in Berlin and focused on increasing the firm’s public affairs presence in Germany and the larger DACH region.
BERLIN – BOLDT, the pan-European business strategy and communications consultancy, today announced the appointment of Kathrin Zabel as a Partner in the BOLDT’s Berlin office. In addition to working with existing clients, Kathrin will focus on increasing the firm’s public affairs presence in Berlin and the larger DACH region.
Kathrin brings decades of experience to BOLDT having previously served in several senior positions in Germany. She began her career in the first Brandenburg state government and later worked as a press spokeswoman for Lotto Brandenburg and Deutsche Post AG. In 2001, she joined the representative office of Deutsche Post DHL where she was responsible for lobbying for more than 15 years, most recently serving as deputy head of the office. Since 2017 Kathrin has been working as a freelance consultant in strategy, communications and public affairs.
She is also a lecturer at Quadriga University and the German Academy for Public Relations. She also serves as honorary Chairwoman of Netzwerk Public Affairs e.V., an association of leading public affairs professionals.
